This book is so bittersweet! I have loved this series, but especially this family! They have come to mean something to me, so while I am so happy to have Dominic and Alecia's story, I am sad to see it all end.Dominic came into the Montgomery family later in life. He didn't find out that he was Steven Montgomery's son until after his mother passed away, and decided then to find the father that he never knew. Who happened to live pretty close to the winery that he owns and operates. But wow, he entered a large and boisterous group! After a couple of years, he's now fitting in quite comfortably. Alecia has been on the outskirts of this family since she first planned Nat's baby shower. No that Alecia is planning Will and Meg's wedding that is going to take place at Dominic's winery, they are spending a lot of time together. But they both have family drama that they need to overcome in order to be happy. There is some serious chemistry between these two!
Kristen Proby always manages to write characters that I care about. That I want to be friends with. That seem so real. The plot is well-developed and makes me want to continue reading. And what a phenomenal job she does of tying this whole series together. I loved that epilogue so hard!!
This is my all-time favorite series! I love the entire Montgomery, Williams, McKenna, and Salvatore Family~ if you haven't read them, I highly recommend!

Forever With Me With Me In Seattle Book 8 edition by Kristen Proby Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I have been a major, auto-buy, don't-even-bother-with-the-Look-Inside fan of Ms. Proby. But this was a stinker. Will be far more cautious in the future. I don't know which was worse that she seemed to be digging in her slush pile for discarded scenes from the earlier books and pasting them together with a silly weak plot to just get the series finished or that there was a major Hero fail.
The requisite Proby girls-are-drunk scene was included, but just tedious this time. Jules--Book 2--has been turned into a caricature. And the plot resolution depends on a giggly, junior high stunt.
SPOILER The really EWW-factor, however, was the Hero fail. Madly in love, Dominic for no believable reason accuses Alecia of cheating on him. Pretty unforgivable. Then he does the one thing he promised her he would never do leaves her with no explanation. Definitely unforgivable. So what does it take to get back in her bed? All he has to do is say "I'm sorry." No groveling, no grand gesture, nothing more than a few words and the supposedly strong heroine is all gooey again. Please. My note was "no, no, no, no, no"!
Adding to the feeling that Proby was just tossing this one over the fence to get the series over was that the only justification for what Dominic did was not even hinted about until the very end of the book. No foreshadowing, no introspection from a POV character. Could have been/should have been fixed with a simple edit of two. But then repetitious words and phrases throughout the book would indicate this book had precious little editing.
The epilogue is a 10-years-down-the-road snapshot of the Montgomery's. Again, could have been a great series ending, but the writing is stilted and childish and "cute." To top it off, the epilogue is incorrectly formatted.
So why even two-stars? Sex scenes at the beginning are hot and the guys' scene while they are building the arbor was a great mirror to the girls-are-drunk theme throughout this series. Otherwise it's a hot mess--in the original meaning of that phrase.
I've noticed that with her new series this author has raised her prices. Maybe not the best time to do that?
“I’m going to eventually make you understand how amazing you are, tesoro.”
Epic endings are hard to come by but Kristen Proby was able to capture eight books worth of incredible into one hell of a goodbye. It’s fitting that she ends this journey with a wine connoisseur and his party planning treasure. Just as fine wine ages to perfection so do Kristen’s words. Sinfully delicious, this top shelf romance is a treat for the Seattle lovers word palette.
It has been two years since I started this love affair with my Seattle families. The sugary sweet love I found within these pages may not be real but to me it was home. The journey has been anything but easy. These characters fought, played, rocked, found safety, and caught breathe all to find their forever. Saying goodbye wasn’t easy. The growth throughout all eight books was exciting as well as entertaining. Laughing at inside family jokes and shedding tears celebrating engagements, weddings, and babies made this family saga something to talk about.
Hints of Dominic and Alecia’s game of cat and mouse were alluded to in prior books. Really, who was sure about the “damn sexy Italian” anyway? Alecia has been a staple of the Seattle gang since the beginning and although a secondary character for most of the series I still fell in love with her. Insert Dominic, all hot and very, VERY alpha male Dominic. The family shake up was all but easy, but soon Dominic took his rightful spot with the Montgomery clan. Head strong Alecia may want to fight but remember that was book two. So what’s a girl to do but fall… forever.
From the “Dear Reader” letter to the epilogue, Forever With Me, was more than a book it was an experience. I love this series. All eight books pave the way to one of my favorite epilogues of all time. On November 8, 2012 I one clicked a book that helped shape my love of reading and I will be forever grateful. Only good things are coming from Kristen Proby and I am excited to see what she has up her sleeve.
